+ MORE DETAILS
Beginners: Tuesday 8 pm - 9 pm & Saturday 4 pm - 5 pm
These sessions are intended for players new to tennis or those who may struggle with the fundamentals, such as forehand & backhand technique and consistency. Coaching instruction utilises drills & games to slowly introduce and teach players the basics, including stroke production, serving and keeping score.
Improver: Tuesday 8 pm - 9 pm & Saturday 5 pm - 6 pm
These sessions are ideal for anyone returning to play after a long break or taking up tennis for the first time. Game-based learning is used to emphasise basic stroke production. + YOUTH START AND COVID-19
Your child’s safety at Youth Start courses is our priority. Our coach will be delivering sessions in accordance with the Government and LTA’s COVID-19 guidelines for England, Scotland and Wales, which can be found here.
Tennis is a naturally socially distant sport, and with these measures in place is widely considered to be a safe, low-risk activity. However, to support coaches in keeping sessions as safe as possible, parents are encouraged to:
Maintain physical distancing with other adults whilst watching sessions
Follow any additional guidance provided by coaches or the venue where sessions are taking place
Should you have any questions or concerns, we would encourage you to speak to your coach.
FOR AGES 4 - 8
YOUTH START
This is a fun starter course for children who have never played the sport before, or may have played very little. Packed full of fun games and training drills, it also gives parents the chance to join in too.
+ MORE DETAILS
Youth Start is for kids aged 4-11 years who are new to tennis. We’ll help teach kids new life skills, developing them as both players and people. This is a modern approach to tennis training. Forget standing around waiting for your turn to hit a forehand. Think dynamic sessions catered for all abilities.
We want to encourage children to play tennis throughout their lives – and be active too. So, if your child is aged 4-8, why not give it a try?

Week Six is Family Time
The final week of the programme is where we invite an adult on court with them to join in and have a go. THIS IS THE BEST WEEK OF THE COURSE!!! Remember your trainers!
We Want them to Keep Playing
After the 6 weeks (or before) we'd love for the children to keep playing. Speak to your coach or have a look here to see what we have available at your venue

Here, we use modified tennis balls, racquets, nets to help them learn the fundamentals of the game early on. As they improve their skills will allow for an easier transition. We aim to help our young players improve their balance, agility, coordination and confidence while also teaching them about the sport we love. At this stage it’s not about winning or losing, it’s just getting to grips with the basics.

HALF-TERM/SUMMER Holiday Camps
Get your tennis shoes on and join us on a tennis holiday camp, this is that time to keep your child safe, active and entertained!
+ LEARN MORE
Our tennis camps run during half-term and summer holidays with the chance as well for early drop-offs and late pick-ups making it easy for parents who are working. Every day is structured to ensure tennis progress but also for kids to have fun and make friends, after all, it is their holiday!
Children from 5-17 are welcome (yes the 5-year-olds cope well with the full days and love it!) Each day is action-packed with team games, tennis drills, matches and also our ‘end of day’ competitions, so that kids learn teamwork, competitive spirit and respect, whilst making new friends along the way.
Our LTA-qualified coach will keep track of individual progress, and huge improvements can be made fast with special tips on technique and style for each camper. Prizes are awarded for effort and achievements throughout the week.
We operate a maximum player to coach ratio of 1:10 throughout the camp, to ensure every player is well looked after and has an individually tailored learning experience.
Coaches are all LTA qualified and DBS certified, and carefully selected by Jaytrack Tennis for their ability to relate to and understand younger players.
If you’d like to join for one or more days, please do contact Coach Ogba, spaces are limited.
